Outfit | Boyfriend

Two Tone Blazer, H&M - £7 | Tessa Print Button Back Blouse, Mint Velvet - £14.75 | Indigo Boyfriend Jeans, Mint Velvet - £14.75 | Zip Up Buckle Boots, Primark - £18

Okay so I didn't actually wear this, well it's close enough. I actually wore this outfit with my skinny jeans to dinner with a couple of work friends a few weeks back, but I'm forever showing my skinnies on the ol' blog so I thought I'd show you something different.
I've had this blouse for months but this is the first time I've bothered to do an outfit post with it. These shoes aren't they just heavenly! I found one shoe in a size 4 at my local Primark, so I made a trip down to Lakeside to find my size. I was a bit unsure as to whether chunky shoes would suit me but I absolutley love them.
P.s I hope you like my socks, I usually have them sticking out of my boots

30 Movies That Aren't As Bad As You Remember - Part 2

Part 2 of this mega cool article from Total Film on Movies That Aren't As Bad As You Remember.
You can read Part 1 here.

14. The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
13. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
12. Waterworld (1995)

Josh Winning makes a good point here about Matrix saying that it set the bar so high that there was no where for it to go but down, although the action still manages to pack a punch. I can't remember but I'm pretty sure this is my favourite Star Wars movie, probably because it's because it was always on TV.

11. Mystery Men (1999)
10. Superman III (1983)
9. Grown Ups (2010)

8. Hulk (2003)
7. Speed Racer (2008)
6. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992)

Ah The Hulk my friend we meet again. I talked a teeny bit about it in this Most Hated post but I've been thinking recently that I ought to give it another watch and see how I feel about it now.

5. The Exorcist III (1990)
4. Last Action Hero (1993)
3. Alien3

Okay so this is awful but I haven't seen any of the Exorcist (for good reason) or Aliens films, I have been meaning to watch Alien but as usual I haven't got round to it.
EDIT: I typed this up a few weeks ago and never posted it, but I finally managed to get a chance to watch Alien!

2. Plan 9 From Outer Space
1. Superman Returns

Film | Most Rewatched Films: Part 2

Fantastic Four (2005)
The Mummy Returns (2001)
Labyrinth (1986)

I was pretty obsessed with Fantastic Four when it came out, this was the beginning of my love for Chris Evans. Thinking about it now it's not as good as I thought it was but I still like it and I prefer it to the sequel.
I'm sure I watched The Mummy Returns before I watched the first one. I think the first two are good but that third one is disgraceful.

"You remind me of the babe. (What babe?) The babe with the power (What power?) The power of voodoo (Who do?) You do (Do what) Remind me of the babe"

Rebecca (1940)
Renaissance Man (1994)
Rush Hour 2 (2001)

The Game Plan (2007)
The Prince of Egypt (1998)
Peter Pan (2003)

13 Going on 30 (2004)
Holes (2003)
Sunshine (2007)

Obsessed is not the word!! My sister and I used to watch 13 Going on 30 all the time, we really wanted to be 'Thirty, Flirty and Thriving' I guess.
Holes has to be one of my favourite movies, I remember watching the film for the first time and reading the book although I can't remember which was first. For anyone that has the DVD, if you haven't already you should listen to the commentary by Shia LaBeouf and the boys.

Big Momma's House 2 (2006)
Catwoman (2004)
Coach Carter (2004)

Fat Albert (2004)

New Header

Just a quick post as I'm busy busy busy with university and work. For almost a year I've been doing posts on fashion and for a while I've been wondering if 'The Movie Life of JP was too specific and somewhat misleading. A few weeks back I felt like the blog needed a change and I spent countless hours trying to customise various different templates, but in the end I realized all I needed was a name change.
So after umming and ahhing I decided to change The Movie Life of JP to The Life of JP, I feel like this allows me to write about whatever I want without having people expect the blog to just be about film.
Hopefully this gets me motivated to post on a more regular basis.

Anyway I'm hoping to have a new post up in a couple of days so I'll see you then!

OOTD: G-Star

 Contrast Leather Sleeve Jacket, H&M - Gift | Bag, Label Lab @ House of Fraser - Gift | Top, G-Star RAW - Dad's old top | Indigo Double Zip Jeans, Mint Velvet - £17.25 | Boots, H&M - £24.99

I actually cannot remember where I wore this outfit or how long ago I took these pictures, but I think it was  sometime in mid September. I absolutely love this outfit, I have quite a thing for men's tops so when my dad gave me this one I knew I had to pair it with a pair of boots and skinny jeans. Obviously my trusty work jeans had to be worn, but stay tuned to see my new jeans in the next few weeks. These jeans never look as blue in pictures as they actually are. Strange
