Travel | Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria #3

Day 3 of our holiday had has us venturing once again down the 700 steps but this time to one of the marinas in Puerto Rico where we hopped on to The Crystal Sumarine Boat, an insanely cool boat that has an underwater seating area where you can watch the fish swim alongside you.

Denim Shirt,Primark via ASOS- £10 | Cami, Primark - £5 | Crafted Basic Acid Wash Hotpants, USC- £16 | Bagpack, Primark - £9 | Trainer Pumps (can't remember)

Amazing view from the lighthouse
These pictures were taken from the underwater part of the boat. I have to admit at first I was pretty scared, firstly because the guide decided to go through the safety rules when no one could here him and secondly because before the fish came all I was looking at was an incredibly blue water and all I could picture was a shark swimming towards us!!

Travel | Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria: #2

The rest of the group arrived on the evening of our first day, so the next morning we decided that we would visit the beach we amanged to glimpse the day before.
This meant we had to tackle the 700 steps, which to be honest proabably doesn't sound that bad considering your walking down and not up, but our legs were shaking long before we had even got to the bottom.
We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw people exercising on the steps and one guy was even running up them with a bike!

The best part of the day definietly had to be when we had lunch at a McDoanlds that had a walk-thru, a little take-away window for pedestrians!

In the evening we headed back down the 700 steps to get a little shopping center that was across the road from the McDonalds.

Travel | Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria

The first day of our holiday started with just my mum, dad and myself so we did a bit of exploring and tried to find the nearest beach.
We were told there was one a short walk away, turns out to get there you have to walk down an incredibyl steep street that was partly TILED!! I mean really, tiles on a hill?! They must really want people to have accidents!

Anyway this route took us round the back of our hotel where we got to see some amazing views, and we even mananged to get a glimps of the beach we were searching for. We saved a visit for another day once we learned we would have to go down 700 steps to get there.

Skull Print top, H&M - £9.99 | Wine Pleated Maxi Skirt, Time - £1

A rep at the hotel told us that there were two beaches nearby but we didn't actually manage to find the second one until a few days before we left, but we did manage to find these incredibly gorgeous views of hotels along the mountain sides with rooftop pools!

Mesh Crop Top, Primark - £4 | Black Bralet, ASOS - £7 | Indigo Double Zip Jeans, Mint Velvet - £17.25 | Bagpack, Primark - £9 | Pumps, Primark - £4

Not much to say about this outfit as it's one I wore sometime last month when I went round to a friends house to watch a movie. As usual I'm wearing my Mint Velvet jeans, as much I love them they are a little to ridged for me so I need to get some stretchy ones for when I'm back at uni. PS. I have been saying this for ages but I'm determined to actually get some now.

Back From Holiday

So I'm back from my holiday to Gran Canaria where I had the most amazing time!! Unfortunately I didn't post as much as I wanted to as the Wifi was insanely rubbish and on most of the days I was too busy to sit in reception and blog.

Now that I'm back I'll get back to posting, so hopefully in a couple of days the first of September's In The Cinema will be up.
