Hey guys just a few quick posts on some of the films I watched over my break from blogging

June – July

Vernie (David Tufford, 2004)
Keeping Mum (Niall Johnson, 2005)
The Perfect Marriage (Douglas Jackson, 2006)
Superbad (Greg Mottola, 2007)
The Amazing Spiderman (Marc Webb, 2012)
Polar Storm (Paul Ziller, 2009)
Men In Black 3 (Barry Sonnenfeld, 2012)
Snowman’s Pass (Rex Piano, 2004)
The Maldonada Miracle (Salma Hayek, 2003)
The Hunger Games (Gary Ross, 2012)

I didn't really watch that many films sadly but I did manage to get a few recent films in, sadly a lot of films I did watch were those kind of awful afternoon TV movies.

Busy Busy Busy

Uni has well and truly started and I've been sooo busy with all the work, although I am actually really forgetful so I tend to forget to actually read for seminars.

I have to write a script adaptation of a short story by Dashiell Hammet, I have class tests coming up and essays to start writing. I'm also desperately looking for a job after having two temporary jobs during the Christmas and Summer holidays, I'm hoping I can get a permanent part-time job or at least a temporary job that leads on to a permanent one.

Here's a list of films that I've watched so far on my university courses Italian cinema, What is Cinema? and Memories of the Holocaust and Colonial times in France:

Rocco and His Brothers (Luchino Visconti, 1960)
La Dolce Vita (Federico Fellini, 1960)
The Oyster Princess (Ernst Lubitsch, 1919)
Syriana (Stephen Gaghan, 2005)
Caché (Michael Haneke, 2006)
La Jette (Chris Marker, 1962)

Hope everyone's having a great weekend :)
